Avondhu Macra, which represents the North Cork region, will host an information event on Friday, September 25, from 7pm to 8pm at the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow.
The evening is aimed at people aged 17 to 40 who may be looking for a new social outlet, an opportunity to meet people or a way to become more involved in their local community.
There is no commitment required to attend, with organisers encouraging anyone who is curious about Macra to simply come along and see what it is about.
The Avondhu region is made up of seven local clubs, giving attendees an opportunity to meet members and hear about the range of activities available.
While Macra has strong links with agriculture and rural communities, the organisation offers a wide range of social, sporting and personal development activities.
These can include sports, quizzes, debating, drama, creative writing and stock judging, with members encouraged to get involved in activities that interest them and to try something new.
Organisers say the organisation can provide opportunities to develop new skills while also building friendships and connections within the local community.
The information evening takes place at the Hibernian Hotel in Mallow from 7pm to 8pm on Thursday, September 25 and is open to anyone aged 17 to 40 interested in finding out more.
