A spectacular National Flower Festival is set to take place in Doneraile on October 3 and 4, with floral artists from across Ireland coming together to create large-scale displays in two of the town’s churches.
The festival will support Breast Cancer Ireland, with organisers hoping for strong support from the local community throughout the weekend.
Floral artists from around the country will transform the Church of the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Mary’s Church of Ireland with large-scale floral exhibits, creating a unique experience for visitors across the two-day event.
Alongside the floral displays, there will be a pre-loved floral sundries stall, a plant sale and Blackwater Floral Mechanics, who will be present on both days.
Visitors will also have the opportunity to enter a raffle featuring a number of prizes, with proceeds going towards Breast Cancer Ireland.
Siobhan McInerney AOIFA, Chairperson, said the organisers would be very grateful for the support of the local community, with the aim of raising as much money as possible for the charity.
The National Flower Festival will provide an opportunity to see the work of floral artists from across Ireland while supporting a very worthy cause.
