Tickets go on sale this Friday evening for a unique long-table dining experience set to take place beneath the trees at Ballyhoura Farm Escape next month.
‘Gather in the Forest – Ballyhoura Long Table Dining’ will take place on Saturday, September 26, from 7pm to 11pm, with tickets going live through Eventbrite at 6pm on Friday, August 14.
The event is being organised by Ballyhoura Farm Escape in collaboration with Galty Valley Catering, bringing together local food, live music and the woodland setting for an end-of-summer evening.
Guests will gather around one long, beautifully decorated table in the forest, surrounded by fairy lights, lanterns, wildflowers and fire pits.
The evening will include a welcome drink and canapés on arrival, followed by a three-course dining experience prepared by Galty Valley Catering, with a focus on local produce from the Golden Vale and Ballyhoura region.
Live music throughout the evening will be provided by Shauna Frewen, while guests will also have the opportunity to meet and photograph the alpacas at Ballyhoura Farm Escape.
With just 70 seats available, organisers are expecting strong interest in what promises to be a relatively intimate event.
The experience has also been designed to cater for the unpredictable Irish weather, with a marquee available if required to ensure the evening can proceed rain or shine.
For those looking for something a little different this September, the event offers an opportunity to combine dining, music and the Ballyhoura landscape in one setting.
