Conor Shanahan leads the Avondhu charge into Mondello Park this weekend as the Drift Masters 2026 championship battle intensifies on home soil, with Killavullen’s Jack Shanahan, Castletownroche’s Owen Magner and James Deane, and Glanworth’s Trevor Healy all set to feature in a stacked Irish lineup.
All eyes will be on Conor Shanahan, who arrives at Round 3 of the championship at the top of the Drift Masters standings and aiming to strengthen his title defence in front of a passionate home crowd.
Ireland is once again next on the calendar, with Mondello Park set to raise the bar as Drift Masters and Red Bull deliver their most ambitious Irish round yet on June 13 and 14.
Round 3 will also see the debut of Red Bull Drift Pursuit, a new competition designed to bring amateur and emerging drivers directly into the spotlight. The knockout-format event will provide rising talent with a pathway into elite competition, with top qualifiers progressing into Drift Masters qualifying and earning the chance to compete in the prestigious Top 32 battles.
Alongside championship leader Conor Shanahan, Avondhu’s strong representation continues with Jack Shanahan, James Deane, Owen Magner and Trevor Healy all taking on some of the world’s leading drift drivers. The quartet will form part of a formidable Irish contingent hoping to make the most of home advantage.
The introduction of Drift Pursuit adds another layer of excitement to a weekend already expected to deliver spectacular high-speed action, precision driving and fierce competition. With championship points at stake, a packed Irish crowd and local stars leading the charge, the Mondello Park round is shaping up to be one of the standout events of the 2026 Drift Masters season.
