Bríd Moynahan and Mary St. Leger unveiled their joint exhibition, “For the Birds,” at the West End Art Studios last night, offering art lovers in Mallow a chance to experience captivating contemporary work.
The exhibition was launched and hosted by multimedia artist Sarah Jayne Booth and will run Thursday to Sunday until 8th December.
The show features an engaging mix of painting, etchings, and sculpture, with both artists exploring themes of memory, storytelling, and personal experience. Moynahan, celebrated for work that draws on narrative and memory, previously exhibited at Cnoc Buí, Union Hall, in May 2025.
St. Leger brings a focus on atmosphere and childhood experience, often creating evocative and immersive environments.
Among the standout works is the intriguingly titled piece, “A tree grew through the floor rendering the room unusable,” reflecting the playful and thought-provoking spirit of the exhibition.
