The brand new Furniture Centre Outlet store will officially open at 11am on Monday, August 31, at Sunbeam, next to Blackpool Shopping Centre on the Mallow Road.
The family-run business has been operating for 47 years and has been based in Blackpool for decades. The business was established by Teddy Barry, with the Furniture Centre name also becoming familiar through its sponsorship of local sporting teams including Rockmount and Brian Dillons.
The business continues to be operated by the Barry family, with Evelyn and her partner Ian, Brian and Delorus and their family involved alongside Teddy and Betty.
The new outlet will stock a range of new furniture, including sofas and suites, dining tables and chairs, armchairs, beds, mattresses, mirrors and lighting.
The Furniture Centre sources furniture from Irish manufacturers as well as suppliers in the UK, Italy and Spain. Its Irish range includes products from established manufacturers such as Tara Lane, Orchard Upholstery and Connolly Furniture.
The outlet will also feature a selection of brand-new, one-off and discontinued pieces which have been held in stock and will now be offered at outlet prices.
A range of beds and mattresses, from single to super king sizes, will also be available, with delivery and old mattress removal options available.
The Furniture Centre’s motto is “Top Quality Furniture and Great Value”.
