Mallow singer Shona Murphy is putting her voice centre stage as she launches a new wedding and events music service, with bookings now open across Munster.
Murphy, who is based in Mallow, is beginning the new venture by sharing her love of music online, with her new page set to feature song covers, wedding inspiration and glimpses into her journey as she builds her wedding singing business.
One of the first songs featured is Talking Heads’ iconic “This Must Be the Place (Naive Melody)”, giving a flavour of the style and atmosphere Murphy hopes to bring to weddings and special occasions.
The Mallow singer is currently taking bookings for wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions and other special moments throughout the day.
For Murphy, live music is about more than simply providing entertainment, with the right song helping create a memorable moment during one of the biggest days in a couple’s life.
She is now inviting couples and event organisers to get in touch about availability and bookings, while her social media page will provide an opportunity to hear more of her music as the business develops.
