Kilshannig Heritage to Host Talk on Navigating the 1926 Census Database

Local history enthusiasts and family researchers are being invited to attend a special evening hosted by Kilshannig Heritage focusing on Ireland’s recently released 1926 Census records.

The event will take place at the Laharn Heritage Centre on Thursday, June 12th, at 8pm.

Guest speaker Padraig (P.J.) Nolan will guide attendees through the Irish Census Database, offering practical advice on how to navigate the records and uncover valuable information about family history and local heritage.

The 1926 Census has generated significant interest among genealogists, historians and those researching their family roots, providing a unique snapshot of Irish life a century ago.

Organisers say the evening will be of interest to both experienced researchers and those beginning their journey into genealogy.

The talk begins at 8pm and all are welcome to attend.
