Heatwaves and summer sunshine may be dominating the calendar, but The Hiland in Newmarket is already looking ahead to darker nights as the venue prepares to launch Malloween, its famous Halloween spectacular with a “Nightmare Before Christmas” twist.
The countdown has begun for one of the biggest nights on the local entertainment calendar, with Malloween taking place on Saturday, October 24, promising a night of costumes, music, special effects and plenty of spooky surprises.
The event will bring together DJs, performers and partygoers for a full Halloween experience spread across six different areas, three dance floors and two levels.
Guests will also have the chance to win a €1,000 prize for the best costume, with organisers encouraging attendees to embrace the spirit of Halloween through their most creative outfits and transformations.
The announcement comes as The Hiland continues its return to prominence on the local entertainment scene, with the venue building a strong programme of upcoming events, including a number of country music gigs.
Once a major name in North Cork’s nightlife and entertainment landscape, The Hiland is once again establishing itself as a destination for live music, themed events and memorable nights out.
