HYROX Sim 2.0 will take place at the TUS Campus on Cashel Road, Clonmel, on Friday, July 24 and Saturday, July 25, with organisers billing it as the largest HYROX event ever held in Tipperary.
The event will feature both Half and Full HYROX simulations, with athletes able to compete in singles, male doubles, female doubles and mixed doubles categories.
Friday’s programme will focus on the Half Simulation events, while Saturday will see competitors tackle the Full Simulation challenge across a specially designed three-lap course on a full running track.
Organisers are promising a festival-style atmosphere throughout the weekend, with chipped timing for all competitors, live DJ entertainment, food trucks, coffee vendors, podium flags and athlete patches.
HYROX continues to grow in popularity worldwide, combining endurance running with functional fitness stations to create one of the toughest and fastest-growing fitness race formats.
The event is expected to attract competitors from across Munster and beyond, with athletes from Mallow likely to be among those making the trip to Clonmel.
Registration is now open through Eventmaster.
