One of the biggest and most anticipated events on the Mallow calendar returns this week as the Mallow Home & Garden Festival gets underway at Cork Racecourse from May 22 to 24.
Now firmly established as one of Ireland’s longest-running and most popular home and garden events, the festival has been drawing visitors to Mallow since 1999 and is expected to attract thousands once again for a packed weekend of gardening inspiration, shopping, entertainment and family fun.
Set across the scenic grounds of Cork Racecourse, the three-day festival celebrates everything connected to home and garden living, with more than 200 exhibitors showcasing the latest in gardening, landscaping, outdoor living, home décor and artisan products.
At the heart of the event are the festival’s beautifully maintained show gardens, each created by talented Irish garden designers and cared for throughout the year by a dedicated team of expert gardeners.
Visitors will have the chance to explore stunning floral displays, meet growers and landscaping specialists, and gather ideas to transform their own homes and outdoor spaces.
A major attraction each year is the programme of live demonstrations and expert talks, with gardening professionals, home improvement specialists and creative experts sharing advice and practical tips across the weekend.
Organisers say there will be something for everyone, from seasoned gardeners to families simply looking for an enjoyable day out.
Food stalls, shopping, live entertainment and interactive activities will also feature throughout the festival, adding to what has become one of North Cork’s signature annual events.
With free parking and complimentary shuttle buses available, organisers are encouraging visitors from across Cork and beyond to attend what promises to be another hugely successful weekend in Mallow.
The Mallow Home & Garden Festival runs from May 22 to 24 at Cork Racecourse, with tickets available at the gate.
