Mallow-based leadership consultancy Probitas has launched a new podcast series exploring the foundations of modern leadership.
The first episode, titled “Welcome to Inside Leadership – The Probitas Approach to Growth”, introduces the core philosophy behind the company’s approach to leadership development, arguing that lasting performance improvements in organisations begin with internal change rather than external strategy alone.
The episode sets out a central theme for the series: that leadership effectiveness is shaped not only by technical skill or business strategy, but by a deeper understanding of internal patterns, behaviours, and decision-making processes.
According to the podcast, many organisations place significant focus on performance metrics and growth targets, while often overlooking the internal development of leaders themselves. Probitas argues that developing self-awareness is key to improving communication, strengthening teams, and supporting sustainable organisational success.
At the heart of the episode is the idea that leadership development should begin with the individual. The discussion highlights how awareness of personal motivations, stress responses, and behavioural tendencies can lead to more intentional leadership and improved workplace relationships.

The podcast also outlines the company’s use of structured leadership programmes alongside tools such as the Integrative Enneagram, which it describes as a framework for understanding personality patterns and decision-making styles within professional environments.
Probitas is led by founders Niall Lehane and Diahann Buckley, who describe the business as being built around integrity-led leadership and a focus on unlocking human potential within organisations.
Speaking through the episode, the company emphasises that its approach is rooted in the belief that “when leaders develop themselves, everything around them improves.”
