Kanturk Cycling Club is set to take centre stage once again as it prepares to host its prestigious annual three-day cycling event, attracting youth and senior riders from across the region.
The O’Leary Stone Kanturk 3 Day event has received official permit approval and will feature a packed schedule of stage racing across multiple categories.
The youth competition will run as a three-stage, two-day event, concluding on Sunday, May 3rd, with races open to under-12, under-14 and under-16 riders.
The senior programme will span four stages over three days, finishing on Monday, May 4th. This category is open to C1, C2, C3 riders, juniors, masters and women, with C1 and C2 races to be run on a handicapped basis.
A separate C3 race will also take place, subject to numbers, forming Race 5 of the event schedule.
Organisers say the event continues to grow in stature within the Irish cycling calendar, offering competitive racing across all levels and providing a strong platform for youth development in the sport.
Routes and official start times will be detailed in the race manual, with full updates available via the club’s official communications channels.
