Rás Mumhan Stage 3 to pass through Millstreet this Easter Sunday

Cycling fans across North Cork are being encouraged to line the roads this weekend as Stage 3 of the Dornan Rás Mumhan 2026 passes through Millstreet on Easter Sunday, April 5th.

Hosted by Sliabh Luachra Cycling Club, the stage promises another thrilling day of racing, with 246 riders set to take on a challenging route through the Cork and Kerry countryside.

The race will roll out from the Green Glens Arena in Millstreet at 10:40am, with the official start on the Macroom Road at 11:00am. Riders will then take on fast-paced circuits through areas including Carriganima, Ballyvourney and Macroom before heading back toward Millstreet.

The stage is expected to intensify as the race progresses, culminating in a tough uphill finish at Kerryman’s Table at approximately 1:40pm, a climb that could prove decisive to the overall standings.

Organisers have thanked the Duggan family for the use of the Green Glens Arena for sign-on and parking, as well as the many volunteers and marshals ensuring the event runs safely. Spectators are reminded to respect all race officials and follow safety guidance along the route.

With its mix of speed, strategy and climbing, Stage 3 is set to be one of the standout moments of the four-day Rás Mumhan event, and a fantastic opportunity for local supporters to witness top-class cycling on their doorstep this Easter Sunday.
