Bragging Rights and Christmas Cheer as Doneraile and Mallow GAA Light Up St Stephen’s Day

Doneraile GAA will host what is being billed as the “real championship game” on Thursday, December 26th at 11am, as Dads & Lads take on the Junior Footballers in a fun-filled but fiercely contested encounter, all in aid of the Barry Daly Fund.

The clash will be a highlight of the festive calendar, drawing a big local crowd and plenty of good-natured rivalry. Adding to the occasion, Clubber TV commentator and local personality Michael Linehan will be part of the MC team on the day, ensuring plenty of colour and commentary from the sidelines.

Just down the road, Mallow GAA will also be buzzing as they host the Donal Murphy Memorial Hurling Tournament, where serious bragging rights are up for grabs. The traditional Northside versus Southside showdown throws in at midday, promising a lively contest as past and present players renew familiar rivalries.

Crowds are expected at both venues, with supporters encouraged to come along, enjoy the action and soak up the Christmas atmosphere.
