Classic car fans can head to Bweeng Community Centre on Easter Monday for the Classic & Old Skool Easter Show, running from 11am to 4pm. All classic car brands are welcome, with trade stands on site and plenty to see for enthusiasts. Entry is €20 per car and €5 for spectators, with kids going free.

Families are well catered for too, with a free Easter Egg Hunt taking place at Hannah/Griffins Bar this Saturday from 2pm. The event has moved indoors due to weather warnings and includes a kids disco, face painting, treats and even a visit from the Easter Bunny.

It’s a huge weekend at Cork Racecourse with the Easter Racing Festival running across Saturday, Sunday and Monday, and it’s already on course to be a sell-out. Saturday hosts a special Family Fun Day in aid of the Down Syndrome Centre Cork, with 100% of general ticket sales going directly to the charity. Racegoers can enjoy face painting, live music, entertainment for all ages and a charity raffle packed with prizes.

Easter Sunday switches focus to National Hunt racing, while Monday brings another family fun day, rounding off a massive weekend at the Mallow venue. Shuttle services are available from the town, making it easy to get to and from the races.

Cinema lovers can enjoy a Family Fun Day at Arc Cinema Mallow on Saturday, featuring face painting, colouring competitions and activities for kids throughout the day.

Newly opened Maxi Zoo Mallow in the Retail Park is also hosting a family fun weekend, with 20% off in-store and goodies for visitors, making it a great stop for pet lovers.

On Sunday night, the celebrations continue with music and dancing at Club Light, where partygoers are encouraged to dress their best for a chance to win a €100 All4One voucher.

And of course, throughout the weekend, Mallow’s pubs, cafés and restaurants will be buzzing with live music, great food and a welcoming atmosphere, perfect for soaking up the Easter vibes.

With so much happening, it’s the perfect time to get out, support local events and enjoy everything the area has to offer this Easter.
