Cork Racecourse Mallow is set to host its fourth annual Cork’s Red Fm Student Race Day on Thursday, 19th March, promising an exciting combination of National Hunt racing, socialising, and entertainment. This event has quickly become a highlight of the season, offering students and young adults the chance to experience thrilling jumps racing alongside a lively pre- and post-race atmosphere.
The festivities begin at The Mousetrap Bar, where attendees can meet friends, enjoy drinks, and soak up the pre-race energy before making their way to the track. Gates at the racecourse open at 12 noon, with the first race of a seven-race National Hunt card scheduled for 13:52.
Student Race Day is endorsed by CITSU, UCCSU, and Horse Racing Ireland, ensuring a professionally organised and enjoyable experience. Following the racing, entertainment continues with music from Cork’s RedFM, creating the perfect opportunity for attendees to celebrate and socialise after the final race.
The event is exclusively for over-18s, and a valid race ticket is required for entry. Student Race Day offers more than just racing; it provides a vibrant environment where friends can gather, enjoy the excitement of horse racing, and make lasting memories in Mallow.
Tickets are available online at CorkRacecourse.ie, and the day promises to be bigger and better than ever, combining the thrill of National Hunt racing with a festive student atmosphere.
