Castlemagner GAA’s push for a fourth consecutive Duhallow Junior A Football title and promotion to Premier Junior ranks has received a significant boost with the completion of a brand-new artificial training pitch at the club grounds.
The state-of-the-art astro turf facility was recently delivered by Kelly Farm Modernisation Ltd, providing players with an all-weather surface that will enhance training standards year-round.
The club hosted its first official training session on the new pitch recently, marking an important milestone in the development of its facilities. Club officials described the project as a major addition not only for Castlemagner GAA but also for neighbouring clubs who may avail of the facility.
Kelly Farm Modernisation Ltd, which completed the project over recent months, wished the club and its players every success as they prepare for the season ahead.
The new surface is expected to play a key role in Castlemagner’s preparations as they target further silverware and aim to take the next step up the football ladder.
