Minister Jack Chambers to Address Mallow Chamber’s Business for Breakfast

Mallow Chamber will host its next Business for Breakfast event  with a special address from Minister for Public Expenditure, Infrastructure, Public Service Reform and Digitalisation, Jack Chambers TD, at Springfort Hall, Mallow.

The morning gathering, on Monday 8th September at 8am,  will bring together local business leaders, entrepreneurs, and stakeholders for an opportunity to engage directly with the Minister ahead of the upcoming Budget.

Minister Chambers will deliver a keynote address outlining current and planned Government supports for SMEs, the Department’s strategic direction, and the key priorities shaping policy for the year ahead. Following his remarks, an extended Q&A session will open the floor for business owners to raise their concerns, highlight challenges, and discuss the supports needed to strengthen local enterprise.

The Business for Breakfast series is designed to foster dialogue and provide a platform for Mallow’s business community to connect with policymakers. Chamber representatives have emphasised the importance of constructive engagement at a time when many SMEs face pressures from rising costs, regulatory change, and shifting market conditions.

President of Mallow Chamber, Estelle Varney said:

“This is a chance for local businesses to shape policy, not just hear about it. Our members want clarity on existing supports and visibility on what is coming through the Budget. They also want to be heard on the pressure points they face in the real economy. I am asking owners to come prepared with examples, figures and ideas so that we can send a clear message to Government on what will keep people in work and keep doors open on our main streets.”

Attendees will also enjoy a light continental breakfast, with fresh fruit and pastries served in a relaxed networking setting.
