Mallow native Demi Isaac is making waves on 2FM Drive Time, with the latest Joint National Listenership Report (JNLR) showing her show with co-host Mikey has added 2,000 listeners, bucking a general downward trend for the station.
Isaac, who previously worked with 96FM and has appeared in the hit series Young Offenders, is currently covering for Doireann Garrihy. The increase brings the show’s audience to 126,000, making it one of the few 2FM programmes to see growth in the latest figures, which cover October to December 2025.
The revamped 2FM schedule, which began in November 2025 following departures of key presenters including Ray D’Arcy and Joe Duffy, has seen mixed results, with other shows experiencing declines. Isaac’s performance on Drive Time stands out as a bright spot for the station, reinforcing her appeal to local and national audiences alike.
Listeners have praised Isaac for her energy, approachable style, and connection with the music and current affairs mix that defines the Drive Time slot.
