Bartley Hayes, a Killavullen native and player with Mallow Town FC, has been selected to represent Ireland at U12 level in the 2026 Dalian Cities Cup in Dalian, China, taking place from 28th March to 4th April.
Bartley was one of 21 players invited to two national trials in Mullingar and successfully earned a place in the final squad of 12. The tournament will feature 48 teams from around the world, and his club has expressed immense pride in seeing one of their own reach the international stage.
This selection is a major milestone in Bartley’s young career and a testament to the talent emerging from the Mallow area. The community will be cheering him on as he prepares to don the green jersey for Ireland.
