Mallow United AFC have announced a major new partnership with Mid Cork Coaching Development Academy (MCC), as the club looks ahead to marking its 100th anniversary in 2026.
The move sees MCC become the official coaching partner of the club, reinforcing United’s long-standing tradition of nurturing talent and providing young players with the tools to thrive both on and off the pitch.
The collaboration promises elite but inclusive training for every age group, with a strong focus on skill, speed, confidence and resilience. Pathways will also be developed to help players progress from grassroots football to academy level, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to fulfil their potential.
“This is an exciting new chapter for Mallow United,” said club representatives. “Our players will benefit from top-class coaching that’s results-driven but also centred on building leadership, confidence and a love of the game.”
As part of the programme, MCC will deliver high-quality sessions designed to challenge players while ensuring inclusivity remains at the heart of the club’s ethos. Youngsters will be encouraged to build confidence and leadership skills, while those with ambitions to progress further will have a clear pathway towards academy-level football.
With the club preparing to celebrate a century of football in Mallow, the new partnership is being hailed as a statement of intent for the future.
