The annual Mallow Arts Festival gets underway tomorrow, Wednesday.
The event is now in its 8th year and has gone from strength to strength since its inception in 2017.
The festival kicks off with local group ‘Chalk and Cheese’ at Bridhaven Nursing home with a variety of music for residents. More events take place throughout the day and indeed until Sunday night when ‘Rattlesnake County’ take to the stage at Kepplers to close the festival.
Some big names are also taking to the stage over the 5 day festival. They include Bressie, Scullion, Sweep down to the Sea, Casey King, and Kieran Goss & Annie Kinsella.
There are events for everyone of all ages taking place at various venues throughout the town both free and with admission fees. It is worth noting that around 80% of the events are free, however.
