Mallow Art Club will host an art demonstration with Carrigaline-based artist Dorothee Roberts at West End Art Studios, Mallow, on Thursday, 2nd October at 7.30pm. During the demo, Dorothee will paint a farm scene using a palette knife, giving attendees a chance to observe her unique technique in action.
Born in France and now based in Ireland, Dorothee Roberts’ work explores the mystical qualities of Ireland’s ancient landscapes, particularly the rugged rocks along the shoreline. Her paintings reflect a deep appreciation for the country’s rich cultural heritage.
Dorothee studied Fine Art and Interior Design in Paris at the Ecole Supérieure d’Arts Graphiques. She has exhibited widely in both France and Ireland and maintains her own gallery and studio in County Cork. She is currently represented by Castlemartyr Gallery in Ireland.
