Killavullen’s Cornelius Patrick O’Sullivan Brings Free Comedy Show to Cork City, this Wednesday

Cornelius Patrick O’Sullivan, a proud Killavullen native, takes to the stage at The Roundy, Cork City, tomorrow night (Wednesday) at 8.30pm with a special, and FREE, work-in-progress show.

For the price of a return train ticket to Cork, or just a short drive into the city and back, audiences will have the chance to catch one of Ireland’s most distinctive comic voices testing brand new material, completely free of charge.

Well known as the king of GAA comedy, O’Sullivan has become a household name among sports fans and comedy lovers alike. His viral sketches, featuring his “stone phone” and the all-too-familiar roles of selectors, coaches, committee members and “jack of all trades” characters, capture the humour of Irish life both on and off the pitch. Combined with his sharp podcast musings, he has carved out a reputation as one of the most original voices in Irish stand-up today.

Tomorrow’s free gig offers Cork audiences a unique chance to see O’Sullivan trial new material ahead of his upcoming national tour. That tour will bring him to Kilkenny and Limerick before culminating in a highly anticipated homecoming performance at the Cork Opera House.

While the tour will be ticketed, this early look at The Roundy is completely free, though places are limited and advance booking is advised.
