Claudia Escobar, founder of the Ganapati School of Yoga in Mallow is bringing one of Ireland’s most inspiring wellbeing gatherings back to Limerick this autumn.
Yoga Fest Ireland will take place at the historic Springfield Castle, Dromcollogher, on 13–14 September 2025, promising a weekend of yoga, mindfulness, music, and community connection.
As co-founder and driving force behind the festival, Claudia has attracted a wealth of yoga talent from across the country. Over two days, participants will experience a rich programme of yoga classes, creative workshops, woodland meditation, chanting, live music, artisan stalls, and nourishing food. From gentle chair yoga to dynamic inversion practice, there are sessions for both beginners and experienced yogis, while a dedicated kids’ tent provides storytelling, mindfulness, and parent–child yoga activities for younger visitors.
Inclusivity and sustainability are central to the festival. Springfield Castle is fully wheelchair-friendly, and eco-conscious practices—such as reusable water bottles and cups—are encouraged throughout the weekend.
For Claudia, Yoga Fest Ireland reflects a broader vision of making yoga accessible and transformative for all. That vision will soon extend internationally, as she prepares to lead the Mayan Yoga Retreat in Mexico in April 2026. Hosted at the serene Lunita Jungle Retreat in Puerto Morelos, the week-long experience will combine yoga, meditation, Mayan ceremonies, and deep immersion in nature.
