A new initiative aimed at making padel more accessible has been launched by Padel 100, with players in Charleville now able to avail of free daytime court hours during the week.
With the arrival of spring and longer evenings encouraging more people to get active outdoors, the operator has announced that courts will be free to use from 8am to 3pm, Monday to Friday, across its locations.
The offer is designed to encourage both new and existing players to get on court during quieter daytime periods and experience one of the fastest-growing racket sports in the world.
Players in Charleville can now take advantage of the free hours by booking through the Playtomic app, which manages court reservations for padel facilities.
Padel, which combines elements of tennis and squash, has seen rapid growth in Ireland in recent years, with new courts and clubs opening across the country as participation continues to rise.
