Cork GAA Launches Foundation Referee Course at Mallow GAA

Cork GAA has launched its Foundation Referee Course, which will be hosted at Mallow GAA, offering new referees the chance to officiate Gaelic Football and Hurling across the county.

The course is open to anyone aged 17 and over who is Garda Vetted. Participants are required to complete a one-hour online module before attending two in-person sessions, where they will learn the rules of the games, match management, and practical officiating skills.

The Mallow session will take place on March 7 from 9:30am to 3:00pm. Other sessions will be held in Carrigtwohill, Clonakilty, and at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh on the dates confirmed by Cork GAA. The online module can be accessed using Enrolment Key: RefFound26.

Cork GAA is encouraging anyone interested in supporting local games, gaining new skills, and becoming part of the sporting community to register. The course provides an excellent opportunity to get involved in Gaelic Games while gaining practical experience and contributing to the local sporting scene.
