Cavanaghs of Mallow has been appointed as a new Suzuki retail partner, strengthening the Japanese manufacturer’s presence in Ireland and bringing the total number of Suzuki outlets nationwide to 25.
The dealership has recently opened its doors to Suzuki customers and will represent the brand across North Cork, offering sales and aftersales services from its Town View premises in Mallow.
Cavanaghs of Mallow forms part of the long-established Cavanagh Group and is led by Managing Director and Dealer Principal James Foley. The family-run motor business has been operating in the county for more than 60 years and has built a strong reputation for customer service and reliability.
Under the new partnership, customers in the area will have access to Suzuki’s full range of new and used vehicles, along with servicing, diagnostics and parts support.
James Foley said Suzuki was a strong fit for the business.
“Suzuki aligns very well with our values and our commitment to delivering an excellent customer experience. We’re looking forward to working closely with Suzuki Ireland and bringing the full Suzuki range to customers in Mallow and the surrounding areas,” he said.
The Mallow dealership operates from a one-acre site and includes a six-vehicle showroom, sales offices, a service reception and customer waiting area. Aftersales facilities include a four-bay workshop, a dedicated diagnostic ramp and extensive parts storage.
Welcoming the new appointment, David Kateley, Director Automobile at Suzuki GB and Suzuki Ireland, said the brand continues to see strong growth in the Republic of Ireland.
“We’re delighted to welcome Cavanaghs of Mallow to our dealer network. Suzuki is enjoying record sales in Ireland, driven by our hybrid model range, strong standard specifications and the high levels of customer service delivered by our dealers,” he said.
Suzuki’s current line-up includes the Swift, Vitara and S-Cross, with the company set to launch its first fully electric vehicle, the e VITARA, in Ireland later this spring.
