Annetta’s Restaurant & Bar has announced it will be closing the doors of its Annabella Roundabout location, after a short but warmly received stay in Mallow,
The popular dining spot, known for its welcoming atmosphere and homely menu, confirmed that operations will now return to its original base in Newcastle West, Co. Limerick.
In a heartfelt message shared on social media, the team said it was hard to find the right words after so many wonderful months in Annabella, Mallow. They explained that they “truly didn’t want this chapter to end” and had put their hearts into every meal, every coffee, and every smile shared with guests.
They reflected on the laughter, birthdays, quiet morning coffees and Sunday roasts that made every moment special, saying that while life can take unexpected turns, it breaks their hearts to close this chapter for now. The team expressed deep gratitude for the kindness, support and friendship shown to them, signing off simply: “Thank you, Mallow.”
The announcement has prompted an outpouring of warm messages from customers, many expressing sadness at the closure while wishing the team continued success back in Newcastle West.
