Rebel Óg Postpones Juvenile Fixtures Amid Fuel Crisis

Rebel Óg and the Cork Schoolboys League has announced the postponement of all juvenile/underage games scheduled for this evening (Thursday, April 9) due to the ongoing fuel shortage and associated disruption across the county.

With many petrol stations closed and further road issues expected, the organisation acknowledged the growing difficulties facing parents, mentors and referees, including delays caused by traffic and queues for fuel.

Rebel Óg Officials have confirmed that the situation will be reviewed over the next 24 hours, with an update to be issued to clubs by lunchtime tomorrow regarding whether fixtures will proceed on Friday evening.

Separately, a meeting scheduled to take place by Cork Camogie in Castle Road tonight has also been cancelled due to the same circumstances.
