Speak Easy Mallow Toastmasters has announced upcoming dates for its annual speech contests, continuing a proud tradition of competitive success at both national and international level.
The club has built a strong reputation over the years, producing multiple District champions across categories including Humorous Speech, Table Topics, Evaluation and International Speech. One member’s journey even progressed from Mallow to the World Finals in Chicago.
While the club is known for competition success, members emphasise that personal development remains at its core. Toastmasters provides a supportive environment where individuals build communication, confidence and leadership skills at their own pace.
Over the coming weeks, Speak Easy Mallow will host its latest round of contests. The International and Evaluation Speech contests will take place on 19 February, followed by the Table Topics (Impromptu Speaking) contest on 5 March.
Winners at club level will advance to Area and Division contests, with the opportunity to progress to the District 71 Finals in Tralee this May.
The club is encouraging anyone interested in improving their public speaking skills to attend. Guests are always welcome to visit and see how the programme works.
