Mallow’s own EPS Group has been named Large Company of the Year at the Cork Chamber Company of the Year Awards 2026, marking a major achievement for the North Cork business community.
The company, which specialises in water, wastewater and infrastructure solutions across Ireland, the UK and Europe, received the prestigious award at Cork Chamber’s annual dinner, attended by leading companies from across the region.
EPS said the award “belongs to our people,” praising teams across Mallow, Cork, the UK and Europe for their dedication to excellence, innovation and community impact. The company emphasised its role in building not just infrastructure but stronger, more resilient communities.
“The recognition highlights the scale, leadership and sustained impact of our organisation,” EPS added, thanking Cork Chamber, AIB, KPMG and the Irish Examiner for the honour.
North Cork businesses were celebrated elsewhere on the night too, with Ballydesmond-based Sibly Food Company named Emerging Company of the Year. The family-run business thanked its customers for their continued support and congratulated fellow winners, including Qualcomm, Réalta Technologies and EPS Group.
The Cork Chamber Company of the Year Awards are widely regarded as a showcase of innovation, growth and community contribution in the region, and 2026’s event underscored the strength of North Cork companies in both local and national business ecosystems.
