The West End Art Studios is hosting a new exhibition by artist Lisa B (Barrett) titled A Time and a Place for a Heart Shaped Box, running from January 31st to February 15th.
The show invites visitors to wander, wonder, and, as organisers describe it, “fall a little in love” with the works on display.
Opening weekend proved a success, with Sabina from West End Art Studios reporting a full house on the launch night. “Lisa is not only a painter but also a writer and musician, so a very talented lady,” Sabina said. “It was wonderful to see so many red dots beside her artworks, a sign of how well her work was received.”
The exhibition is open Fridays from 12 to 5 pm, Saturdays from 11 am to 5 pm, and Sundays from 12 to 5 pm.
West End Art Studios, a non-profit organisation run by its members, has a busy year ahead with seven more exhibitions planned. The venue is also available for workshops, creative events, and children’s birthday parties, offering a community space for artistic engagement. “We love the arts and creativity and are happy to volunteer our time to make it happen,” Sabina added.
Visitors are encouraged to take the opportunity to explore Lisa B’s evocative new works before the exhibition closes on February 15th.
