At Breedon Group plc’s Bweeng Quarry in Co. Cork, no two days are the same for Roy Willis, senior quarry manager. From driving a shovel to working on the weighbridge and testing materials in the lab, Roy’s role is as varied as it is hands-on.
“I see myself at Breedon because they are a great company to work for,” Roy says. “I don’t even have to set my alarm, I always wake up on time because I enjoy my job. I like going to work. If you start at the bottom, have a great attitude, and work hard, the sky’s the limit with this company.”
