Many schools in Mallow and the surrounding areas will close tomorrow, Monday, following heavy snowfall today.
The weather also caused disruptions for bus and rail users with a number of services running late or cancelled.
A number of shops in the town also closed early.
Roads in the area are treacherous including Kennel Hill, Muddy Hill, St Joseph’s Road, Gouldshill, the Old Cork Road to name a few.
The advice is to stay indoors unless necessary.
