Visitors to Doneraile Court will soon be able to enjoy the historic attraction seven days a week as it reopens fully for the 2026 season.

The popular North Cork heritage site will open daily from Friday, March 20, marking the start of an expanded visitor season at the estate, which is managed by the Office of Public Works.
In addition, the OPW will continue its popular free admission initiative, offering visitors free entry on the first Wednesday of every month. Admission on these days will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
The move is expected to be welcomed by locals and visitors alike, with Doneraile Court and its surrounding parklands remaining one of North Cork’s most popular visitor destinations.
The historic house and estate attract visitors year-round, offering walking trails, gardens, and heritage experiences in the heart of Doneraile.
The expanded opening schedule provides greater access for families, tourists, and the local community to enjoy one of Cork’s most important heritage sites.
